With each season having its own set of colors, people are bound to have their own opinions on which they think is the best. With everything from the stark white-and-black of winter to the oranges and reds of fall, each season has its colors and its own set of fans. Some like fall for the warmth of the colors, and some like spring for the vibrancy.
Out of the selection of people who answered the poll, the majority of people seemed to like to fall the most, whether that be because of the cozy theme, the changing leaves, or just the warm oranges and reds.
“I think it has the best colors because of the cozy theme and the leaves changing colors,”eighth grader Claira Hollabaugh said. “Don’t forget about Halloween, because they have spooky colors too.”
This isn’t to say, of course, that fall is the only season people like. The next season we have in line is winter. With its stark whites and contrasting browns, many love this season as well.
“There are only a few colors (brown, white, and gray), all of which are pleasing to the eye.” one senior said.
The next season, if we’re going in order, is spring. Of course, there are people who love spring; it has so many colors because of the flowers blooming and the melting of the snow, and after winter, everything seems so much more vibrant.
“It’s like an explosion of color from the flowers and trees,” freshman Eidan Dobos said.
And, at long last, we come to summer. The snow has melted long ago, and the air is getting warmer, but this isn’t to say that summer has no color. Senior Camden Gjovik notes that “the vibrant colors and the variation of colors you get as opposed to some other seasons” especially stand out.
When all is said and done, all seasons have their own colors, and all seasons have their own fans.
