Rising to fame at just 21 years old is Tate McRae, with three studio albums. She is currently on tour for her newest album, “So Close To What.” She announced the “Miss Possessive” tour on Nov. 14, 2024, with 51 shows. Then on Feb. 19, she added 23 more shows, coming out to 74 shows in total. With this tour being in arenas, this will be the biggest tour for McRae.
The tour took off in Mexico City with 24 songs on the set list, including a couple of her famous dance breaks. The show starts off with the first track on the album, “Miss Possessive.”
McRae takes us on the magical journey throughout the night with two different stages to get a view of the whole arena. While that is something big, something even bigger is her choreography and dancers. The way they execute every move with their full emotion and never miss a beat is outstanding. She is also very well known for her immaculate outfits and the way she has them correlate to something within the night amazingly.
While she has three albums, McRae started off with writing and recording her music on the platform YouTube. She has been most known for her two older songs, “One Day” and “you broke me first.” Her supporters are huge fans of those two songs, but not being able to hear them live would be sad because they are so huge for McRae and helped her start her climb to fame. McRae then decided to add a surprise song each night and either sing a song from her newest album that didn’t make the set list or an older song.
As she is touring, there is no doubt that McRae will keep climbing to the top of pop.
