The junior high Lady Panthers controlled the region with a 15-2 record this season. On October 29 at Conneaut Valley Middle School, they faced the CASH Eagles in the championship game and lost 29-20.
The coaches this year were Steve Scott and Amy Braymer. Starters for the Lady Panthers were Rhiannon Paris, Layilah Drakes, Libby Smith, Lyndzee Amory, and Lindsey Greco.
Reflecting on the year, the team seemed to be proud of how they finished: “We worked hard and did very well,” Paris said.
