Alaina Merchant is a senior at Saegertown High School and is The Panther Paw and A&E editor. Merchant has been on The Panther Press staff for four years. During her time with the paper, she has written many stories with a wide variation, with some of her work making it into the Meadville Tribune. Merchant has made it to the PSPA States in her tenth and senior year. She is involved in many school clubs, such as Young Conservatives Club, Math and Science Club, and Yearbook. She was also wrestling cheer co-captain alongside her friend Alayna Nale. After graduating, she is going to attend Thiel College to major in early education and special education to graduate in 2029.
