Tired of just getting candy for Halloween? This year, the Victory Family Church is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” event. So if you’re looking for a Fall full of fun, you might want to consider “Trunk or Treat.”
If you’re worried about missing trick-or-treating for “Trunk or Treating” this year, then you’ll be happy to know that the Victory Family Church event falls on October 24th, giving you plenty of time for both, maximizing the amount of fun you’ll have this Fall. If you’ve heard of this event, or if you haven’t, and you’re trying to decide whether or not to go, I’m here to help.
The Victory Family Church “Trunk or Treat” goes from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Crawford County fairgrounds, gate one, on 13291 Dickson Road, Meadville, PA. This event features candy, hayrides, food trucks, entertainment, and decorated vehicles. While the Victory Family Church is Christian, you don’t have to be Christian or even religious to attend or take part in the event. So if that was a deciding factor in coming, it doesn’t have to be, and the best part is the event is completely free.
If you are interested in serving the community, one way you can do this is by decorating a trunk for either event, if you want to do a trunk for the Victory Family Church event, it’s completely free. If you’re decorating a trunk for the Victory Family Church, they ask that “decorations avoid scary themes such as witches, skeletons, ghosts, zombies, blood, or gore.” If you want to get involved in the community but aren’t interested in decorating a trunk, there are plenty of other options, especially for the Victory Family Church’s event, including the hospitality team, a candy donation, distribution of candy to trunks, hayride advisers, the inflatables team, the parking team, and the production team.
If you’re not interested in helping out, the Victory Family Church would still love to have you at the event. Featured food trucks and vendors there will include Marty’s Nacho Mama, French Creek Coffee, Donut NV, The Real Magic Steve, and Tree Family Party Pigs. To ensure the fun won’t be canceled, the Victory Family Church has said the event will be happening no matter what, rain or shine.
